maybe somebody can answer a question or two about Wii cintrollers for me.

I want to play some SNES and Game Cube games on my Wii, whats the best controller for me to get?

I quite like the look of the Classic but is that compatible with gamecube games? and likewise if I do have to get my hands on a GCN contoller will a third party one work?

Game have a third party wavebird for €30 is that a better bet than a classic for €30?

The classic controller is just fine for all the VC titles, plus the N64 games do seem to be optimised for use with it over the GC controller.
That said I love my wave bird, it works just fine for my games and works a treat with my existing GC game collection.
If you can get a Wavebird for only €30 then I'd say go for it.

Thanks, but will a classic work with GameCube games?

    Thats great thanks,

Bit disapointed though I have to say. Its a bit shorted sighted to design the classic without functionallity for GameCube. Never liked the GameCube controller but I reckon that third party wavebird is the best bet.
