Traffic counts on regional roads

I noticed this quote in another thread:
...and all have to funnel down Bishop O Donnell Road!

33,000 AADT on a two lane curvy road with unsequenced traffic lights

Looking on the NRA's website, I can only see traffic counts for national roads (I suppose the "N" in "NRA has something to do with that...). But that road in Galway I believe is a regional road.

Is there a source of information for traffic counts on regional roads?

I'm particularly interested in the counts for the R683 just east of the R710 (Dunmore Road at Ardkeen in Waterford), and the R675 just south of the R710 (Tramore Road).

    Hey I'm famous :D

I think that came from the Galway Co Co website, but I cant find it now :( There are no direct counters for R roads, they're just set up when they're wanted/needed.

the old national route N7 now R455 west of Nenagh. still carried over 6,500 cars a day even after the Nenagh bypass.

The N52 traffic took over 2,500 or thereabouts from it when the N52 link was opened shortly after.

Traffic has dwindled on the old road to 4,700 a day two years ago.

    So my prediction would be.
    4,900 using old road
4,000 using N52 that would make the R445 about 9,000 from 6,500 4 years ago...
    And then
    8,500 using bypass
    7
Then at carrigtoher the N7 would at least 17,000 if the old road was still in use. Nenagh would be hell on earth:D without its bypass

I appreciate your taking the time to reply, mysterious, but I don't see what relevance all this has...
