Yep, I have to, it's the only thing I have that will read the NEF files from my D3. It's really good but can be painfully slow to work with. RAM hungry. There is a Flickr group for CNX and lately there is talk that not using any cache speeds things up alot, but there are divided opinions on it.

I use it all the time for my firsts steps in my workflow
white point is a great tool
U-points are great to make a sky look better, also beign able to switch between vivid, natural and standard (they are linked to colorspaces really) is great

I think using Capture NX over any other convertor with D300 and D3 you get one of the features of these cameras, which I can't remember the name of it, it's what reduces the colour when high contrast (blueish lines)
all other convertors will ignore that metadata create for the cameras and you will have to do that manually on an editor

I then use nothing else of it, all other is done with a proper editor

are you thinking on buying it?

Well I am pretty much a beginner with photoediting software and I wonder is there any suitable guide or textbook to get started with using CaptureNX?
(by the way I got the NXCapture with a D200 last year)
