It is possible to get around their booking systems being so crap and not taking international addresses. Once you create your account initially put in any old post code, it will need to be a real one though so just "steal" one from BBC NI or something, then once your account is created you can then go in and edit the address to your proper foreign address so that you can actually make credit card payment with your real details.

I've been onto them previously complaining about it and their response was basically along the lines of them not giving a damn about foreigners buying tickets so it wasn't a problem as far as they were concerned.

cheers, was thinking of just puttong in a friends postcode,

    ;)

thing is, when attempting to book it before asking me to register, it gave the option of collecting the tickets from the station, done this last time when i traveled on virgin, but didn't have to register then

stats the postcode is to delever tickets, but why if you can choose to collect them your selves

    :(

There system is a bit fecked up but as long as you only select to pick up your tickets from the machine in the station you'll be fine.

It's just the first time of registering your name and fake address with them that need the postcode, after that it doesn't care anymore. I've had to re-register with them a couple of time though after forgetting my previous account details from years ago, shame they've still not got round to fixing it properly though.

thanxs for help, sorted, it actully allowed me then to change to postcode back to 00 after i put in my own address, before even submiting,

dont know why it just doesn't allow you to put in your full address before or instead of doing a post code search in the first place
