MMA or any martial art in Waterford?

can anyone point me to where i can train in mma or martial arts in waterford or east cork someplace?? cheers!

Waterford Vale Tudo - Tycor Business Park, Waterford. They may be moving soon though, not sure. BJJ class is taught by a purple belt from Poland on saturday's there also.

I train Judo in WIT Sports Hall, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:15pm. Drop me a message if you want any further info.

I saw a Martial arts club on kilcohan rd (couple of months ago actually), in an industrial estate just accross the rd from the dog track. I think Pat Rockett is invloved and I think there are MMA classes as well.

Anyone know anymore about it?

Tiny-Nioclas, WIT also have a Karate club in the sports hall. Unfortunately it's the same times as Judo (they divide the hall between two). Let me know if you want any more info.

Waterford Vale Tudo - Tycor Business Park, Waterford. They are a sound bunch of lads if its MMA your after. They train every Mon, Wed and Friday from 7pm.
There is also kickboxing classes every Tues and Thurs from 8-10pm and Sat morning at 11am.

I'd look up the Waterford Vale Tudo lads, good bunch and no egos wrecking your head. Good laugh to train with, not sure there's anybody up there close to your weight category, but you'll be fine if you concentrate on using technique to play, rather than using pure caveman size and strength to muscle through. Of course in a comp. you can use it all, but better to have the skills to back up your size lad.

Pretty good - theres 2 main gyms, both are well kitted out with good facilities.

yes they have a great gym out there one of the best equipped probally in the south east its next to azzuri sports shop
im told theres ladies only classes there @7 on mons and thurs
