    Hi people,

Wondering if anyone could give me a pointer?

I have a sunroom on the back of the house - its one of the pointed ones (plastic roof)

Im not the best with this kind of thing bu i was wondering if its possibe to have a door added to these?

Basically there is a continuous wall with brick below where I want to place the new door. I know it must be very hard to imagine what I am trying to do and its my fault for not being able to explain properly but someone might know the answer in a general sense.

    Cheers

If its a brick wall, and you want a door in it. yes.

They need to cut out a space for a concrete lintel, both sides if its a double leaf wall, set in the litel and then ome back the next day and cut out the area for the door with a con saw and so on.

Sounds to me like an add-on conservetory, is the door to go to the outside from the conservetory, or as snyper says between the conservetory and the house?

if your're fitting the door to one of the glass walls, it may be worth findingout which company fitted it initally as they will have a better chance of matching to door to the rest of the structure.

    Sounds promising lads cheers,

The door is to go from the conservatory - outside.

Also there is a continuos window on top of this brick wall (approx 4 foot high)

Any idea what I would be looking at for this - ballpark figure?

    Thanks again

Ah ok, ou need to ideally go to the people that supplies the unit to do the work.

Its hard to say on cost, presuming the door is 500 quid and the work to fit.. 1100 all in?
Thats a real rough guessas i dont know the price of the doors and exactly the set up, although i do have an idea.
