My friend's Packard Bell Easynote M5284 is having a few issues. It's roughly 18 months old and yesterday it refused to boot into XP. My friend's Packard Bell Easynote M5284 is having a few issues. It's roughly 18 months old and yesterday it refused to boot into XP. Instead, it reaches the loading page of XP (Home Edition) then restarts. Prior to this it ran perfectly. Does this sound like a hardware problem? Is there a way I can figure out what exactly is wrong with it without opening it up? Thanks for any replies (Windows n00b).
