Dell GPX Powering Up Problems

Ive a dell GPX 270 and it runs pretty well but occassionally (Maybe 1 or 2 times every month or two) my monitors go blank and i have to shut it off for 10-20 mins and it comes back on. If i try to turn it on too soon it powers up and i can hear everything twirling and kicking inside like it should be nothing happens on the monitors. I presume because i have 2 monitors connected to the pc that its not a monitor problems. Also when it is running its running smooth and powerful. Its 2.6ghz and 1.5gb of ram or something to that effects.

Anyway at a guess because it works after a while id say it might possibly be something to do with overheating? Or what do people think might be the problems or solutions. Unfortunately its not covered by warranty but i know how to take apart the pc, if it dosent work soon ill take the whole thing apart and remove and fluff and dust but i dont want to go to that bother if its somthing else causing the problem. I need the pc for my livleyhood so i need to get this sorted asap or get a new pc quick

btw ive left it an hour this time and it keeps powering up but both the monitors are blank, maybe something to do with the grapgics card? Maybe ill try reseating it?

Also should be noted that the keyboard is also not getting any power so probably unlikely its the graphics card.
