    Hi Gerry

    Outlook or outlook express?

There's quite a different procedure for either.

It's Outlook 2000, I have outlook express 6 (2004) on the PC too. I also have Microsoft entourage 2008 on the mac but i'm trying to get them in mail.app.

It seems easy to get them from entourage to mail.app,

Is there any way to mix and match them to somehow get emails on the mac?

If anybody who knows could reply tonight that would be great, he's taking it away for a week and would like his emails with him.

Hmm, couple of choices. AFAIK there is no direct PST import function in mail.app
However, you could install Thunderbird on the PC, then import from the Outlook PST to Thunderbird (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Import_.pst_files) then install Thunderbird onto your mac. Next copy your Thunderbird (Win) folder to your mac Thunderbird profiles folder, and you can then import from Thunderbird to mail.app (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Export_to_Mail.app or if using Leopard there is a direct import). you can then delete Thunderbird from both systems if you want.
    Awkward but it works.
There are probably more ways (e.g. third-party software), so if I can find more I'll post them up here

An alternative would be to pay €7 and use Outlook2Mac http://www.littlemachines.com/
