I dont really know much about audio or headphones but i want the best sound quality possible for music in a budget of around 50ish but would go to probably 80.
Im looking at sennhieser since they have such a good reputation.

I was thinking the sennhesier HD-555, but i only have a realtek HD onboard audio so dont know if that would be good enough.
Read that the HD-485s were good also.

    Anyone have any recommendations?

shure e2c or e3c are very good and will easily run off an ipod or laptop. They are in-ear headphones though - so you mightn't want that.
Ive seen generally good reviews of AKG K81 DJ and Koss PORTAPRO - though havnt tried either. Seinhieser PX100s are supposed to give you alot of bang for your buck if thats what your are after and are generally well regarded as far as cheap headphones go.
