A pic from dec 2000 , taken after xmas (just spent some time scanning photos back to pc)

This image taken from the hill near my location , looking south , the slieve mish mountains in the foreground leading to the more distant dingle peninsula and the higher mount brandon toward west kerry .

The town of tralee is shrouded in freezing fog at the base of slieve mish .

Dont know the exact (dec) date of this photo but i remember after a 2/3 hour dawn walk getting back home with a slight sunburn .

This was a morning with nature at its best .

One of those rare days when everything was 'perfik'

    :o

That would have been Dec 29th 2000. That photo is stunning Kerry1960. Looks like an outpost in Alaska! Any link available for a bigger size photo?

Thats a great pic, from 26th/27th of December 2000 snow began falling in the country and lasted a few days so it could have been sometime during that spell up to january.

An incredibly beautiful picture of snow heaven.
If he hadn't said where it was i'd have thought he took that picture while in Alaska.
