    Any fans around?
Anyone been/going to a gig of his?
    What was is like?

    Lee Evans is great.
I know for alot of people you either love him or hate him.
His comedy seems to have an aquired taste, too, for some reason.
    I've always loved him, though.

For a time I thought he was funny (to my eternal shame) but every show is the same and now he just grates on me!

Didn't like him at first but think he's ok now. It definitely takes a while to get in on his brand of humour. He's very creative though.

I agree that his shows are repetitive at times, but not entirely.
He uses alot of the same one-liners, but the body of the show is usually different.

I hate the way he he does teh same whiney oul one voice for all of his bits. he sweats like a lunatic, have only seen him on TV absolutely pouring and its just so off putting.

Creative he is! Have you seen Live At Her Majesty's Theatre?
That opening scene was hilarious xD And very different.

I still can't get over how much the poor man sweats, though.

He doesn't do the same voice for all of the characters

I think that's the entire English nation you're referring to ;)

I still think the opening he did to one of his shows is brilliant "How to be a Stand-Up"

He's a bit before my time so I'm not really familiar with him, but lookswise he is a bit like him.

Yeah, that's the one I was referring to above.

I like how he doesn't just stand up and talk for 2 hours, but he actually performs, like.

Just reminding everybody that MCD events are not to be discussed. Anymore and this thread goes bye bye.

Not to be thick, but what exactly is an MCD event? Or even MCD, at that.

    I'm new to this >.<

Yeah, paramount do him no favours.

I really like him myself, i've seen a few comedians, Tiernan, Moran, Ed Byrne, Al Murray and Lee Evans was far and away the best of them all, never laughed so much in my life!!

I went to see Evans in July and has to be one of the best nights of my life! He was so full of energy (obviously) and even played BohRap at the end! I have to say I have a "crush" on him, so I wanted to jump him there and then :p but other then that, the man is a genius and i would travel anywhere to see him! I think me and my brother know his shows off by heart because we watch them so much!

    He is a legend!
