BBC radios on DAB in Ireland?

    Hi:
I have a small UNO DAB radio which receives all the ROI stations very well here in Skerries SE coastal area. A couple of months back while (auto)retuning the stations I picked up all the BBC DAB stations and all were registered in the memory. It was around 11PM and I let it tuned to R4 but later on in the night the reception went dead. Ever since I have not been able to retune/listen these stations although they are all stored in the memory but with a ? mark. I have not used any external (digital) antenna although once I tried to tap the signal from a AllInOne digital antenna but without success.
My question: is it possible to receive BBC radio DAB stations in the Republic say with additional antenna power?
Incidentally, I can get many of the analogue bbc FM stations very well from where I am.
    Thanks much in advance.

I'd put that down to lift conditions. Atmospherics and high pressure. It does happen that you can get DAB from England and NI on those days.

In Skerries, you can get good BBC FM reception from Kilkeel, yet not DAB, as its only broadcast from Divis and other main tx's.
