Hello all, Flying with Aer Lingus tomorrow to Portugal, 2 adults & 1 infant, each adult has baggage allowance of 20kgs and infant`s is 10kgs(total 50kgs). Does anyone know can we check in 2 bags for 3 people but both bags could weigh 25kgs each or do we have to check in a bag each for its own weight?

    Im not sure

But I think you can combine allowances up to a max of maybe 25 or 30kg for any one piece of luggage, check this though cos I dont know

No you cant.with Ryanair last year my daughter put her two year old daughters clothes in her bag,she was over and they told her she would have to remove the excess or pay the price(cant rember what it was)so she paid and bought a bag (cheaper)in Greece for coming home.

Aer Lingus have pooled baggage for me in the past - I think it helps if you are all on the one ticket.
Ryanair will do anything they can to make money out of you.

Holly, the query is about Aer Lingus.

OP, you gernerally can pool your baggage but they will refuse a bag over 32kg.

I think everyone will automatically assume that those thieving c*nts wont allow you do anything without charging a fee for ut, how long is it before there is a p*ss handling charge for when you nead to take a leak on the plane (and at that they won't even ever actually handle your todger)
