    Does anyone know if there are any walking clubs around the nenagh area?

    Mid Tipp Hillwalkers club is based in Thurles but has members from all around mis Tipp area. Their bus leaves parnell st car park and stops at other towns depending on what direction they're heading. The club organiser is Michael Sutton of Wilomere drive, Thurles. They advertise every week in the Tipp star.

    yep Michaels the guy to help you out there.. he's widely known so probably has connections
    just as an edit i think its spelt Willowmere drive .. but i could be wrong

    theres also a cashel extension of the club.. possibly slightly more advanced but is still welcoming to anyone with boots!!

    Eldons pub in clonmel have details of a walking club up on the wall in the old part of the pub. They seem to be quite big and have plenty of tours. Seems to be a weekly thing...
