Legal to download CD I own?

I have a CD downstairs - it is Mansun - Legacy (the best of), anyway I simply couldn't be bothered walking downstairs, taking it out of its' case, putting it in the CD drive, downloading software to rip the music to my laptop, bla bla etc. Would it be illegal if I just downloaded the torrent and acquired the CD that way?…
