Hello. I have 2 interviews coming up next week for jobs in Glasnevin and Santry. If I get either of them what is the commute like to both places driving in rush hour traffic from Malahide? Roughly how long would it take could anyone recommend to me? New to the area. Thanks very much for any info.

I know you asked about driving but this is C&T so I'm going to give you the public transport option anyway ;)

If you get the dart from Malahide to Howth Junction, you can pick up the 17A from outside. It goes east from there through Coolock to the Swords road and Santry, then east to Ballymun, south on Ballymun road and east along Glasnevin Avenue through Glasnevin and Finglas. Depending on where you want to go, it could be convenient.

Alternatively for Santry, get the 102 from Malahide to Swords and then any city-bound bus (except some expresses that operate through the port tunnel).

I imagine journey times could vary from 15 minutes when its quiet to 30 minutes at peak. One problem is the number of people who don't know how to merge / de-merge on the motorway.
