Hi,

my friend has a advent t9306, I dont know much about advents but he has been giving problems.

Slow and doesnt always boot.
There was was a lot of processes running on it, the anti-virus is up to date and the operating system is xp.

While I was looking at it. it powered off and would not reboot. The user told me this happened before, but an hour later still on joy.

Swapped the power cord for a known working power cord, no joy. not even a enough power to start the fan momentarily. there also was no network active light, even though I know that that port is live and working on a separtate machine.

It didnt seem hot to touch, though I think I heard of issueswith the harddrive overheating.

Any pointers
