Keith Nolan going well in the Nationwide Tour

    The forgotton man of Irish Golf doing well in the nationwide tour Foundation Clasic.

    Member of the Nationwide Tour in 1999, 2001-02, 2004-05 and 2007.
    Member of the PGA TOUR in 1998 and 2000.
    Iron man of the 2007 Tour, making all 31 regular-season starts. Made the cut in 19 events, but finished the year No. 86 ($70,060) and failed to advance to
    the season-ending Nationwide Tour Championship at Barona Creek.

    Great Britain/Ireland Walker Cup team member in 1997. Winner of 1996 Irish Amateur, 1995 and 1996 Irish Stroke Play, 1996 Hong Kong Amateur and 1996Waterford Scratch Cup. Lists playing in the 1997 Walker Cup and being a PGA TOUR member as his biggest thrills in golf. Lists his wife and dad as his heroes. Got his start in golf from his dad. Non-golf related jobs held include working at a Starbucks.

    Good to see he is still competing in America. I remember he and Ritchie Coughlan(?) getting their PGA Tour cards around the same time. Good luck to him for the rest of this week and for the season ahead!

    Just saw this now, he shot 81 in the 2nd round and missed the cut by a mile.
    Looks like you jinxed him Rounders.

    I keep an eye on him also. Did okay last year, got to the PGA Q-final to try and get the full card but fell away. I don't think he even has full privileges on the Nationwide tour?

    Richie Coughlan has been off the radar for a while. Played a few Nationwide tour event's last year but never challenged in any of them. Missed out in one of the regional Q schools event's.

    Unfortunately i definatly jinxed him!.
    Yeah i think he has conditional status on the nationwide tour.
