wide angle lens from b and h

brother will be off to the us in may.Was thinking of getting him to go to b and h.At the moment have a 350d with 18-55mm,70-300 and 50mm lenses.Am looking to get a wide angle lens and maybe some cokin filters.could anyone give me advice on which wide angle lens to get.thank you.

this is so weird. My bro is off to the u.s in may aswell and I was thinking of asking him to pick up a 10.5mm wideangle nikkor from b&h.

think it's still a tad too expensive atm, around $550? ouch
