I'm sure the answer to my question is spread out among the threads here already but here goes anyway. Can anyone tell me what shops in Dublin+surrounding regions sell home cinema projectors? Online stores are unfortunately not an option. :(

    Thanks

you'll be ripped off buying in our store but since its your only option, i'd try and get the optoma hd65 in Northern Ireland from PC world (625 euros based on current exchange rate on xe.com)

    edit: it's your lucky day

Not the best price in the world but the best you'll get in Ireland i'd say

    And its better than these:

They have an 01 number so you might be able to buy it offline

Best HD budget projector you'll get

Thanks the Optima is probably right in my range. I tried all the usual suspects at the Blanchardstown Centre retail parks today with no luck. Hardly Normals had one on showing the match tonight but I don't think they were actually selling any.

I'll take a look around Dublin tomorrow. Peats should have something I imagine. Does anyone else know of any home cinema specialists where I can walk in and purchase a projector without needing a consultation and a home visit to feng shui my room? In other words I don't want an expensive 'home entertainment solution' I just want a projector :D

Went with the Optoma HD65 from PC World in Bangor. It was worth the trip. Roll on Champions league :D

btw I just noticed that I mentioned the Usual Suspects in my original post and the only reply was from kaiser sose. Weird
