Well 328 is the limit so if it fire 330 it would be over. And JG are known to often shoot 350. Just confirm the fps first.

Google it for Reviews and Check the Review Database on Arnies Airsoft.co.uk

I checked for reviews and found out that it is in the 350's fps range, but under a joule so if i downgarded it with a lower spring would i be able to play at HRTA?

hate to burst yer bubble chief , no such thing as being in the 350 anything fps and being under a joule.all sites that i've seen base their fps on a .2 bb

well thats where your wrong, although thataeg is likely to be over being jing gong for all you know it had been chronoed with .12 gram bb's

True, but seeing as almost all JG shoot around 350 fps with .2g BBs out of the box, in this case its a pretty safe bet its hot.

Your all very close to breaching the rules right now lads.

If it's chrono'ing at 350fps then it's over. The De Facto standard is 0.2g BB, so unless it explicitly says otherwise, then it's chrono'd with 0.2g BBs.

Isaac: If you wish to get it, you'll have to have it downgraded before it enters the country, otherwise it will be destroyed.

    Isaac,

If you are going to purchase it from over seas. Purchase it from a retailer that chrone and certify all AEGS prior to shipment. State at time of purchase that you in the more info section that you need it to be rated at less than one joule (.9 to be safe). Some charge if it requires a downgrade. Do your homework on the AEGs you're looking at and the reviews on the retailers.

As kdouglas said, have it downgraded before it enters the country, otherwise it will be destroyed.

Would that 8.4V 4200mAh battery work with the charger you get with the M16A4?

90% sure thats large type. I dont have an M4 but I think they use the "mini" type.

    This is a mini 8.4 1500mah and its NiMh(better than Ni-Cd). http://www.eirsoft.ie/store/product_info.php?cPath=35&products_id=65

the m4 uses a small type battery.i own one.
that site doesnt make it very clear if its a small battery with a large connection or a large battery with a large conntection.

On IAS it says that the M16A4 http://irishairsoftsupplies.ie/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_34&products_id=81 holds a large type battery so would the one im looking at work with the supplied charger?

yea the ones with the large stock take a large battery,.

First thing | would do if I ever purchased a clone would be to replace the charger and battery. Many clones ship with poor quality batteries and chargers. Fit for nothing but the bin. You'll spend as mush as the AEG itself on a decent charger and battery.

    Just my own opinion...
