C&C - Sunset over Dun Laoghaire from Forty Foot

Was out and about in town last night and this is the first of a few I've been working on.

C&C welcome and appreciated.

Nice shot. I like the colours and especially the sun. It conveys a nice warmth. Also the silhouette effect on the church works well too.

For me you've got both the sun and the church too much in the middle, plus there's a fair bit of "uninteresting" black and sky over on the left hand side. I'd suggest a crop, getting rid of a lot of the sea (leave in enough of the reflection coming off the sun on the sea to draw the eye up to the church and sun though) and also quite a bit of the left hand side of the photo, closer to the church and sun.

Hope that's helpful in some way and I'm sure there'll be others who'll disagree with all of what I've just written above.

Very nice, but as suggested already would definitely benefit with a crop.

I really like it, but I think you need to crop away the botton third of the photo.
