Hi, just wondering if any knows if it is possible to rent an underwater casing for a canon Mk II N or Mk III or if someone has one to sell. B&H have them priced at around $5000!. I rather take my cases with a good bin liner bag and some masking tape than pay that much!
If anyway one has done a bit of underwater photography let me know how you got on.
    cheers

Well if you want a well sealed housing that has a decent port then you'll be paying well over a grand, a friend of mine is selling a housing for a mk2n, pm if you want his details.

    Think it's this one http://www.liquideye-whs.com/us/C1791.html

There's no point paying all that for your lenses if you're going to stick a bit of crappy plastic over them.

What are you looking to shoot by the way?
Doubt you can rent them anywhere over here at all, unless you can convince one of the full time guys like Mickey Smith or Al McKinnon to hire it out to you.

Obviously thats not terribly practical, so you might be better off buying a p&s and an underwater case, and do it that way. I have a Canon A710 and the Canon underwater case, and its brilliant.
