    On some threads I see, in between posts, "thanks from "member whoever". Are these posts that Mods have deleted or have the been edited out by the posters themselves? Just wondering :)

    No if you look in the bottom right of every post (bar your own) there is a little thumbs up. use that to give thanks

    Pretty much, there was nothing wrong with +1 though in my book

    That was driving me Mad too. I was wondering why I saw members names on the post. :D

    While were on the subject of posting, anyone know how you create a Poll.
    Tried to make one here a month or two ago but could not find the option.

    The difference between +1 and thanks is that thanks is recorded.
    Every post you have thanked somebody for, or been thanked for is recorded by boards, and can be refered to to assess a poster. some people have already lost the ability to give thanks due to abuse.

    For example, you have been thanked 7 times, over 5 different posts

    Aslo threads can fill up with +1 posts and thats a pain in the ass. +1 is also used by post count whores.

    When you hit the 'New Thread' button at the top left of the forum, you'll be taken to the page for creating your new thread (obviously :rolleyes:); in the 'Additional Options' section at the bottom of the page, you should see an option to 'Post a Poll'. Tick the box and carry on from there.

    Nah seriously, that's a good idea that is. I had been thinking to myself Christ the mods are busy deleting on here lately!
