Decent dance/dj mags?

In my ongoing effort to try and get back up to speed on what's happening in the world of clubs and DJs etc I am looking for a decent mag. I bought MixMag at the local shop and i remember years ago it came with a free Timo Maas Trance CD (Dirty Trancing) which was a superb CD.

Anyway, the mag seems to be full of pics of pretty boys and girls prancing around in a club and not hugely informative on DJs..(any DJ mag that has a 'fashion' feature goes down in my estimations!)

Can anyone recommend any decent DJ/club/electronic music mags?

They all have fashion in them these days I think

DJMag and iDJ are decent enough but both treat trance with a depth of contempt, if you're in to trance... not read MixMag in ages.

    Theres an Irish offering, SlickDJ.

slick dj is pretty good - it's just started going monthly and they've added a load of pages to it.

Knowledge and ATM are both good if you're into DnB, Dubstep, Hip Hop etc..

cool, I think I'll give slickDJ a go.
One thing I like about the mags is that it gives me the names of all the latest tracks doing the rounds. I am not one to hit the clubs very often so this is a good way of finding the latest tunes etc.

So true, I use Winamp Shoutcast radio along with StreamRipper to hear what's new out there.

i just check the tracklistings for bailey's show on bbc 1xtra, as well as all the jungletrain shows, and the don rosco and stacks show on powerfm.org

works for me anyway; between that and the legions of geeks providing tracklists for mixes on the net it's pretty easy to keep your ear to the ground

Slick-DJ is a good irish mag and as someone said, they've added a lot more pages from this month on.
