    Hi Guys,

I'm trying to get some DVD's onto my iPod, I've used handbrake to covert it to .mp4 and now I'm trying to add it to itunes, but it doesn't seem to do anything when I go to >Add File To Library.

Has anybody any experience in this? Does it take forever to import or is there an easier way?

Open up Movies on the LHS. Drag the file into this and sync. Hopefully this'll work.

Tried that but no joy, the file won't play in Quicktime either so must be a problem with the file. I used Shrink DVD to pull the files off the DVD and then Handbrake to convert it. Does anyone know any other method that works and is free?

    Try giving Videora a shot.

anyone answering this question will earn themselves a ban.

i noticed it's not on the charter here but is covered on the computer technology charter and thus may hurt boards in the future.

it will be added to the charter here too.

Got it going, converted it using the m4v extension rather that mp4 and that worked a treat using handbrake.
