Hi, I'm looking for flights to HK in October. Can anyone recommend a good agent or website to find the cheapest flights. I found one good deal on Travelocity. The carrier was Air New Zealand but when I went to their site it was way dearer than Travelocity. What's the story with this?

Big travel sites will often have booked a block of seats with a particular carrier, or a portion of the seats on a flight to sell at a certain price.

That or the airline is running an offer through that particular agent.

I have been to China a few times in the last years and almost always fly Air France as they seem to offer the cheapest fares. A close second is KLM Dutch Airlines when I checked it earlier this year for my trip in May.

I have a few Chinese friends and they all seem to prefer Air France as well so maybe check them out?

Been to Hong Kong twice in the last 2yrs and went with Cathay Pacific both times.....cant fault them. Try BA, Virgin & Qantas also....

I flew with Oasis Hong Kong (linky). You have to fly from Gatwick, but you can get there with Ryanair. They were the cheapest carrier I could find and I had no issues.
