I am an electrical engineer hoping to pursue a MSc in Building Services or Electrical Building Services. I intend to complete the course by distance learning. Any person with experience of the courses in Brunel, Heriot Watt, Glasgow etc. or School of MACE in Manchester could you give me an idea of the course content etc. I would be interested to hear from persons whom have completed these courses or are in the process of doing so. I would be very grateful to hear your experiences, e.g how many hours a week should one allow for study time? and relevence to working in industry?
    Thank You.

Have you checked out the Distance Learning MSc in Building Services Engineering at London South Bank University?

I'm doing the MSc with Brunel at the moment. Just finishing the last assignment of the taught modules and intending to start my dissertation in Sept.

I'm thinking of completing the MSc in Brunel and would like some info similar to what has been requested above, such as the quantity of hours required, type of support available, etc.

Have people found the masters at Brunel worthwhile? Does it drag out to the point of loosing interest? Is it value for money?

Any info would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

Have you any experience of this course? I dont know whether to specialise in Fire engineering or to do a full masters in services.
Is the services sector completely dead or is it worth following the path I originally went down?
