When you pass your test, what sort of bike are you restricted to ride for the first while and for how long?? Like for instance, how long before i could insure an R1 or a 900 Blade?

Search the forum, every second thread is about this. Also remember that what you are licensed to ride and what you can get insured on can be very different things.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Bikes with

a) less than or equal to 33 BHP

OR

b) less than or equal to .16 kW/kg

for a period of 2 yrs from date of licence
