Rent allowance help please

whats the maximum rental allowance??
please, no links, i've searched eveywhere with no proper answer.
thing is, i've no where to go, have been signin since november due to bein let off as i've no work (plastering) and all i can find is places that are 160pw+.
I have been told by my local health centre that its 115 or less. i've also been told that if u say ur rent is 115 u will not get the full 115. i am willing to claim the 115 and pay the rest myself out of my own dole. i just need to know what to put on the form what my rent is. please help just broke up with the girlfriend was living there now i've no where to go sleepin on one of the lads couchs. thanks very much.

There is a house for 160 a week and i want to get the fullest amount of rent allowance i can as i'm out of work (only for the moment, and no where to go). i am prepared to put what i can to get the 115 and will pay the rest myself, but i have to put down 115 on the form?? i'm in wex..

the maximum rent that can be charged for your accomodation is 115pw or 80pw in a shared house in Wexford. If the landlord puts anything higher than that on the form, you are likely to be refused RA altogether.

As MorbidAngel pointed out, your best bet is to contact your CWO.
