I glossed over it a bit too much during the year and would appreciate something that explains the backround to it.

Yep, I did that module as well, though I didn't really like it much. Did the exam on the 1798 rebellion as a countrywide event; so by and large didn't technically have to read anything about disturbances in Armagh at all.

I'd love to know whos to blame for the lack luster and underwhelming titles applied to historical events in ireland, they may be apt in a purely technical sense but 'troubles' and 'emergency' never seemed to be oppropriate for the gravity of these situations.
