Besides the arts block, where would people recommend I go so that I can surf the net on my laptop and chillout.

I could do it in the library but it's unfair to take up someone s place. (like Im doing now)

GMB is the obvious choice. I've done it in the Museum Building. College Park is also pretty good but the shine of the sun can make viewing the screen difficult. The steps of the 1937 might have wireless. And there are the seats in the lobby of AAP, but that's neither cool nor luxurious.

Or you could go down the far end, but it's crap down there.

On the couches at the bottom of the Ussher, although the wireless there can be a bit sketchy.

Oi! How would you know?! There's some nice couches in the Hamilton which are fairly well hidden, just take the stairs up by the cloakroom/security hut and they're on the first floor. Good for a sleep too :)

Very true.. but the wireless in the Hamilton is terrible. It rarely works. Im on it now fter spending over 10 mins trying to connect. It frequently takes me over 20mins to conect in lectures

There really should be lots of little places around college for students and staff to relax and informally mix, the value of that kind of thing can't be underestimated in a university
