Hi everybody, was just looking for some advice with regard to acne treatments.

i have PCOS and as a result hormonal acne which is cystic but not severe.

I was wondering if anybody has used spironolactone and/or accutane?

I am willing to try accutane but was wondering how affective spironolactone might be.

Please help as i am at the end of my rope with this

I was on Accutane when I was younger. Did the job for the acne, but dried me out like a husk while I was on it (ie permanently chapped lips, etc.). After I was off it, acne stayed away, skin was still dry but not nearly as bad as when I was on it.
