I found an old negative of my grandmother taken in the 1930s or 1940s. Its about 2.5" by 4.5 or there-abouts. Can you recommend anywhere I can get it developed or know how I could scan it to turn it into a positive?

    Cheers,
    Rob

looks like MF film ? maybe 6x12 or so ? If the width is 6cm then it'll fit into any scanner that takes 120 film. A good flatbed will do the job if it has a transparency mode and can scan medium format.

you can use a pro scanner yourself and scan it with the help of the staff at a place in Rathmines

www.thelightexchange.com has all their contact info

I got the negative scanned. I discovered that you can scan b&w negatives using a flatbed scanner and a white piece of paper over it to reflect the light.

    Here it is...

The negative was a bit scratched so had to do a bit of cloning to repair but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
