    Looking to buy a pair of headphones to listen to music with.

    Anyone care to recommend a good pair?My budget is about 120 euros.

    On the go or at home,on ear or in ear,isolation no isolation,your music preferences etc?

    I strongly recommend you stay well clear of bose.

    I like using sennheiser ear phones, but the stress i put them through means they don't last very long, starts off with either the left or right cutting out intermitantly and then one of them altogether. It's a pain considering how much they cost. Are there any that are more durable then others?

    Skullcandy are usually excellent and quite cheap, or so I find anyway.

    At home, on ear, isolation, everything.

    200 is stretching it a bit. Am I right in guessing Sony and Sennheiser are the best brands?

    Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. They sound great for closed headphones. Around 100 euro from ebay.

    Had a pair of these before, excellent headphones and a great price too.I think Sennheiser make better open headphones ,im not so mad about their closed versions, they can be uncomfortable as they rely on a clamping force to isolate.The Audiotechnias on the other hand fit like a glove due to the headband construction, its a great design.Sound quality wise i found them better than Sennheiser counterparts.

    Over ear > On ear. I use Sennheiser HD201s to walk around with because I have a habit of rough treating them. Good because you'll get them under €30
