.....some mid to late 30 year olds that like to have a drink and dance the night away!

We are heading into town on Saturday night and love a dance but don't want to be around people young enough that we could have given birth to them :D

Has anyone any recommendations for somewhere that we can drink and then dance or even somewhere to drink and another venue to head into later??

Drink - if you're looking for something a bit fancier than a pub you could try any of the usual suspects on Dawson St, Cafe en Seine etc, or maybe Dakota. If you're looking for a pub try Neary's or Sheehans off Grafton St, maybe Kehoes.

As far as dancing is concerned, no idea...how young is too young ? Get a few in and go with the flow.

Copper Face Jacks, any pub around Grafton Street, or Club Nassau on Nassau Street (all 80s at the weekends)

theyd feel like babysitters in coppers.it does have old people in it but theyre usually auld fellas havin a perv.for a pub, maybe o donaghues on baggot st or some of the pubs along there.for a dance though, you'll be with a young crowd, cant avoid that.dtwo nightclub on harcourt st upstairs mightnt be too bad.

Thanks folks ~ we've been to Bojangles (just along from Coppers and Krystal's) a bit and that defo has an older crowd which is great but we're getting a bit bored of seeing the same faces now. Figured there must be somewhere else that had a crowd of late 20's+ dancing the night away!

The Blue Note in Capel St has a really mixed crowd, live blues/ jazz music and room for dancing, nice chilled crowd.
    Might be worth a look.

there's also an over 27's nightlife meetup so if you want to expand your group you could pop along.
