Heading to B & H in May. Woops, I mean New York.

Well, it'll be the first stop.

Canon 350D/400D & kit lens ( gonna judge in store )
Sigma 55-200 (have used - very nice)
    Canon 50mm prime, f1.8 (1.4 too pricey....)

And a few Bits and/or pieces, that catch the eye.

I say, I canna wait, laddie.

My advice is go in knowing what you want - and wear a pair of horse blinkers in order not to be tempted into making expensive impulse purchases.

Get the BH Product number off each item you want (Get these on the BH Photo site) and go straight upstairs and order with a Sales Rep.

Have to say - it's the strangest but best shop I've ever been in.

A bit like being in Santa's House with him and Mrs Clause, for three weeks before Christmas.

Yeah its chaos, not the sort of place you can browse. But the staff I dealt with were very helpful.

Those overhead conveyor belts.....North pole is what sprang to mind with me also!

I'll don a pair of those and make a bee line for the checkout.

    "...Must....not...make....more...purchases..."

Then try out the stuff on the NY skyline.
I might mail all the boxes with receipts and cdroms and stuff, home ahead so as to have no trouble at customs.

" No, Officer, I brought all of this with me. I just love the Boots Photo Counter"

    Opening Hours Noted, cheers.
