Airsoft Grenades (non pyro ones)

Any chance any of the Irish Retailers can get any airsoft grenades?

Since there is no sign of the AI Tornado Grenade yet
Its got me wondering what are our options with regards
to Airsoft Grenades that are non pyrotechnic.

Im after something that is reusable. I was not sure if gas powered airsoft grenades
worked the same way that the Thumper flashbang works where you need to replace
    diaphragms with each use.

This crowd has some nice things:

WGC shop to a gas powered one:
VFC / MAPLE LEAF Airsoft Grenade - James Boom MKIII A2

I dont know how it works ie do you need to take off the cover to expose
    the holes or what?

the AHG ones that use citric acid and bicarbonate are useless, don't bother with them.

the ones from wgc look good, but personally i'm waiting for the AI tornado grenade to come out.

MarkLmk had one of these down in G-tac on Sunday. We don't know if he got a dud one, but it didn't work too well at all. There was 5/6 of us trying to have a look and see what was going on. Would take roughly a minute for the grenade to go off after pulling the pin.

There is a screw thingy in the top of the grenade under the handle which can be adjusted
to alter the time delay. I'm waiting for the tornado grenade to be released though.
I may try some of the citric acid ones for the laugh. a fiver a pop is a bit pricy though.

just saw the pics of one on this thread:

Yup, which was adjusted numerous times. We did find that when we actually took out the cylinder which houses the gas, adjust the screw and fill with gas, it would go off a lot quicker. It was when we rehoused the cylinder that we were having all kinds of problems.

I've heard that the citric acid ones that KD tested before have been improved and are now a lot better, MIA are getting some in soon so we'll all know soon enough, the lads from ATF had some home made ones up at Gorse Hill on Sunday and they were pretty impressive, about a 2 foot plus blast radius and a loud bang. If home made grenades working on the citric acid principle can work so well I don't see why a company that's making them couldn't figure out how to make them work at least as well if not better.

In saying that I'm definately getting a tornado when they become available, till then I might try my hand at making some home made ones along the lines of what the guys from ATF had.

Ya it was a bit of a joke alright waiting 1 to 1 1/2 mins for it to go off.
If you used it in game it would be a real case of hot potatoe,:p

any luck with the nade Tony?, did you try screwing the timer part on really loosely? like just 1 or 2 threads, apparantly the looser it is the lower the detonation time. Ive a feeling ye tried almost everything on sunday though :(.
