Help Identify Military Badge

    Anyone able to tell what regiment this badge belongs to? Below is a photograph of one of my relatives (great uncle?) I don't know much about him and was hoping to find out anything I can.

    Similar but the centre of mine has what looks like a $ sign. I thinnk it might be a chaplain badge but the $ is throwing me.

    I reckon its the cap badge of the Royal Green Jackets

    They're now part of one the British Army's new multibattalion reigments named "The Rifles" who were amalgamted from a number of different rifle units including the RGJ. Most people know them because of "Sharpe" :D
