The AFL have turned down Tasmania's request for an AFL team, and have said they are focused on getting an extra team in Western Sydney and the Gold Coast before Tazzie.

The eagles are apparently going to have a stronger team this week as players return from injury, altho I havent heard much about Priddis who was badly missed in midfiled last week.

Barry Hall seems to think his punishment is fair and his players say they felt let down by him. There is talks he may be taken off their leadership list and be 'demoted' but not sure if anything will actually come of it.

Related to that, Demetriu (AFL head) has said there is no need for sendings off in aussie rules.

The Victorian team was announced yesterday for the hall of fame game, with Geelong having 8 players picked.
