Its a lot better than Beverly Hills but thats not saying much :)

I like the chorus but not too sure about the rest of the song. Still have high hopes for the new album though, this was written after the record company complained that there were no singles on the new album

Eh...it's alright. Like you said, the fact that it sounds better than songs on Make Believe is damning it with faint praise. Fingers crossed for the album all the same.

We Are All On Drugs is the only song on Make Believe worse than Beverly Hills

Rivers has injected a tiny amount of conviction back into his delivery of lyrics that hasn't been seen since pinkerton.

can't get loading in work as the internet is real slow at the moment, but i can see the youtube title and it says full song, is it actually the full song? i've only heard the 30 second preview on amazon.com

Remix of new Weezer song 'Automatic' can be found here, drummer Pat Wilson on vocals

I think this song could be great in a non-remixed state

it sounds like it could be cool, but i really really dislike his voice, even his own band stuff is terrible vocal wise, it's just very monotone and nasaly (if i spelt that right).

have to say though i'm looking forward to the red album more than anything since green, but as a lifelong weezer i'm programmed not to get my hopes up. it took about 3 superb 2005 albums to get over make believe.

Ya Make Believe pretty much stinks bar maybe 2/3songs. I also have high hopes for this new album. I think it will be very different from the previous albums, hopefully in a good way.

Not a fan really, haven't liked Weezer in a while now. A pick and mix of their best songs would be good, but too many weak songs like this let them down.

    Nice Timbaland namecheck... yeah right.

They name checked Green day and Guns And Roses in two of their classic songs (El Scorcho and Suzanne) so the namechecking of bad artists is nothing new to weezer :)

Nothing really "bad" about Timbaland, I'm completely indifferent to him, just think it's a bit "trendy" to mention him. Doesn't really make much sense to me. I do like El Scorcho though, god damn those half-Japanese girls!

El Scorcho is fantastic :) . I dont think its name checking Timbaland to be trendy, I think its meant to be a bit of a piss take.

If there's one thing worse than trendy music, it's piss-take music. :D

it's not meant to be trendy/a piss take.

Rivers has been trying for his song career to write a true pop hit, since timbaland reaches number 1 by just overlaying random "hey"'s and "ooh"'s he wants to work with him so he can too have a number 1.

it's pretty obvious what the songs about, as it's been known for a while that weezer are not on great terms with their label, they were the reason there were no b-sides for make believe and made weezer say "we only believe in releasing A-grade material"

Rivers don't have moustaches. What was he thinking?

We Are All on Drugs rocks my socks.

'tashes are cool especially when you're going bald and need to work out in a gym to fit some underwear.

the only good thing about we are all on drugs was the videos they had for it, but then some american mother complained about it and they had to change the lyrics to we are all in love

Now those are lyrics everyone can enjoy. The mock heavy metal vidoe they made for it was cool alright, much like the song.
