Dr Lektroluv returns!!

    The good doctor is known for performing in a slightly frightening green mask and suit jacket, while using an old school telephone headset instead of headphones.
    But the man behind the mask is a highly skilled DJ who is promoting a mix of italo-disco, proper electro and techno to even bigger crowds these days. He's released no less than eight mix-compilations since 2002. On the latest 'Lektroluv 007' the Dr. is sticking to what he knows best: selecting the cream of the crop from today's electro/italo/techno scene and blending these tracks with some hard to find classics - always maintaining a distinct dancefloor-friendly flow.

    There is now also the Lektroluv vinyl label featuring artists such as Bangkok Impact, Savas Pascalidis, Mysterymen, The Subs and Kaos. Dr. Lektroluv plays The Academy on Sunday May 4th. Tickets are priced €20 and the show kicks off at 11pm.:D

    whats the academy like?
    is it like spirit was? I love lectrolove but wasnt mad on spirit so wondering whether to go to cos theres 2 other gigs on that night that look good!

    Would've liked to go, but it's on the same night as MSTRKRFT and there's no way I'm missing that!

    Soulwax/2manydjs playing that night too... spoilt for choice!

    Is actually a great DJ, one of the best electro ones around and his mixing is second to none. Anyone else agree he should get rid of that ridiculous mask?Turning electro in2 a joke that kinda stuff is.Villalobos is on with loco dice the same night, as is gui boratto in spy-think both those would be better mind you!
