Not really superb shots or anything but I wanted to post anyway just to say I've been to the 'Parochial House' :D

There was actually a tip jar outside the house! There were also lights on inside but the house looks to be in fairly bad condition so maybe they are using it as a farm house or something.

It's in the Burren, very close to a village called Kilnaboy (which is a couple of miles outside a bigger village called Corofin).

Actually I was really annoyed when I realised I forgot to put on my new Polariser filter, weather was ideal for it..d'oh!

    The first is class imo,
what benefit would the polariser have provided, (filter virgin here)

well I would have thought the polariser would have made the blue sky a nice deeper blue while showing up the clouds in a better brilliant white..that's the idea anyway :)

When I was there late last year there were a number of cars parked out front and a few people were chatting in the driveway so I would be very surprised if the house was no longer in use.

yeah, just when I was finished taking some pics a jeep pulled up and a girl went up to the door and knocked on it and somebody inside opened it, lights on and all...seriously though, it looks to be in a pretty bad condition.

Hardly surprising. Sure it must be nearly ten years since that feckin missus Doyle even touched the place with a duster...
