Just wondering if anyone can help?

Going travelling in June, starting in Europe. We haven't got any itinerary planned just kind of move to the next place when we're sick of the last :)

After europe however I was planning on heading to India but if I apply for a visa before I leave it could have run out before I get there.

Rang the Indian embassy, who weren't very helpful, basically just said I would just have to go to India before the visa ran out (like I hadn't figured that one out myself!)

Does anyone know if you can apply for the visa outside Ireland or do I have to apply before I go?

    Thanks:)

Yes you can. Just got on in Malaysia there. Took 4 days and I didn't need to hand in my visa for those 4 days, just came back and got the visa when it was processed. It's a pain in the butt that the visa starts the day you get it, there is also a year visa, but it's more expensive and harder to get. Also, visas are cheaper in cheaper countries!
