Mobile phone for visually impaired/kids

Wanted to get a mobile phone for half blind 80 year old, with just 3 or 4 preset buttons to press. No conventional number keypad required. Essentially a kids mobile would do also. was on a flight last year with a visually impaired guy sitting beside me who was into his gadgets as much as me we spent a lot of time chatting about his PDA / Mobile experience and his choice was a Symbian series Series 60 loaded with TALKS, it may be much too high spec for your needs though:
