Modem needed in new PC using BT Broadband?

    Firstly, sorry if this is a stupid question. Buying a new desktop computer from Dell. The modem is an extra €30 and the sales guy THINKS I need one even though I am on broadband. I think he is wrong. I am on a Broadband package from BT - not wireless (if that makes a difference). Thanks.

    Nope, modems, in desktop PC's, have pretty much gone the way of the Dodo. Don't need it.
