After a memory upgrade

I have just replaced one of the memory modules in my early 2006 iMac to make it a 1.5GB machine. It is indeed much faster on startup and apps open quicker and all that. Is there any thing from the software point of view that I might do to make best use of the new memory?

And oh yea, does anyone want to buy 512 mb of memory for an iMac? ;)

Not really, the apps will take up the new memory that is now available.

On Mac systems before OS X (System 6 - 9.2), you had to/could set the desired and maximum amount of RAM that the app would use, but in OS X, this is all automatic.
