The Centrepoint is on the Portadown Road, Lurgan - coming off the M1 take the exit for Lurgan (Junction 10) - take the first exit off the roundabout into Lurgan (Lough Road). Go into the town (past the railway crossing) and after the traffic lights at the top of William Street turn right immediately after the church which is also on your right - this takes you to a mini roundabout - take the 3rd exit (Edward St) and continue on past McDonalds - the Centrepoint is on the left heading out of the town.

Those coming from Dublin direction - take the signposts for Lurgan/Craigavon/The West at the Sprucefield Roundabout, then as above

Address for anyone hi-tech using their satnav - 24 Portadown Road, Lurgan

    "Yay McDonalds!"

All you need is a context - there's one at the Sprucefield Roundabout too where anyone coming from Dublin will head off towards Lurgan. Mr Leonard - you stick with Satnav and the rest of us will find our way to Lurgan via various McDonalds landmarks :)

Predictions people? Prize details are on the fighttalk forum

    Lucy

Please note it is a female giving directions so they will be accurate...

    Hi Lucy,

Would it not be quicker to head up the A26 through Banbridge and into Lurgan that way?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 128 ✭✭UFR Management

    Mr Murphy

It may well be quicker to go that way, think its all much of muchness though - if you go off at Sprucefield towards Lurgan its 15-20 mins max to Lurgan.

Directions from Google Map to go via Banbridge:

At Dublin Road Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A1/Newry Bypass
Continue to follow A1 5.0 km
At Armagh Road Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A27/Tandragee Rd
    Continue to follow A27
Go through 2 roundabouts 16.9 km
Slight right at Terryhoogan Rd 1.3 km
Turn left at B3/Scarva Rd 2.7 km
    Slight right at A51/Tandragee Rd
Continue to follow A51 0.7 km
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A50/Mill St 0.2 km
Slight right at Castle Hill 0.4 km
Continue on Hunters Hill Rd 2.9 km
    Continue straight onto B3/Plantation Rd
Continue to follow B3 6.3 km
At Gilford Road Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A26/Flush Pl

Not sure where this brings you into Lurgan but look out for McDonalds and head out past it :)

Only came back to this thread now, you guys are hilarious, you know that right :)
Its not my fault that I compensated for my rugged chin and dashing good looks by a lack of sense of direction! Forever more I will refer to my TomTom as Satnav to avoid any confusion with the Tomahawk
