Bought a camera from the US only problem is it has a US power cable, and i need to charge the battery! it says 125v on the power cable but the charger has 100-240v input on it. What can i do to use this in Ireland to charge my batteries!

Buy a plug converter and plug it in.

I have a battery charger (US) for my old 20D, and with a plug adapter it worked just fine at charging my battery.

Yeah just one adapter will do fine if the charger says 110-240 means it works with both frequency's... so the rest is easy...

Yep if the charger accepts 110-240 or some similar variation then it'll work fine here. You can either buy a plug adaptor or cut off the plug (assuming its attached to the charger with a cable) and replace it with a standard 3-pin one.
In my case my D50's charger uses a standard figure-8 plug so I just stole one off an old radio :)

Yeah i was gonna jus change out the plugs but was worried about blowing it because of the voltage issue, thought i'd seek advice before doing anything. Thanks for the replies:)

I changed the plug, it's charging away, no explosions!
